The Museum's first artist-in-residence is Lee-Ann Chellis Wessel, who specializes in porcelain, pottery, and egg tempera paintings from the Italian Renaissance. During her week in residence Lee-Ann will create a studio in the fine-scale miniature gallery so that Toy and Miniature Museum visitors can watch her work. She will also give gallery talks and teach a course at the Kansas City Art Institute. The week will culminate with a public lecture about her work and an exhibit of student's work from the Art Institute.
